DIAROU'S NOT SO DIFFERENT

"Diarou is starting her first week in a new school, in a new country, speaking a new language... and she feels completely alone."

During the summer of 2020, I worked alongside a group of students led by Shout Mouse Press to illustrate a book they had written themselves - "Diarou's Not So Different".

 

It was a delight getting to bring their creative vision to life as Diarou tries to navigate making friends in an unfamiliar environment.
