HOWDY HI HELLO! 

Alex P. is a nonbinary and biracial illustrator, educator, and collector of novelty earrings located in Chicago. 

 

Growing up throughout the plains of Wisconsin, Alex's work is inspired by an appreciation for the mundane and cozy; and a desire to always have a blanket wrapped around your shoulders. They graduated with a BFA in Illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2017.

Since then, they have collaborated on a number of projects ranging from queer inclusive tarot cards, Minecraft rap-battle concerts, and 2 children's books! They are currently an educator at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, teaching digital illustration to the artists of tomorrow.

 

In their spare time, they run around the greater area of Chicago painting murals while toting their dog around in a backpack.
